BETA CHATER

In the spring of 1993, a group of young men and women sought to create a group at California State University, San Bernardino that would help Latino student’s pursue a higher education. Upon looking at the many different Fraternity and Sororities on campus they sought to bring an organization onto this campus that would develop their leadership skills, be highly involved in the community, enhance their academics, create leaders, and to be a part of family. Upon extensive research they came across a unique Greek lettered organization DELTA SIGMA CHI. It was then that on April 16, 1993 that DELTA SIGMA CHI became the first Latino based Greek lettered organization at CSUSB.

The twelve founding brothers and sisters of Beta Chapter worked diligently to set a strong foundation to help the future brothers and sisters achieve greatness. Since its birth, Beta Chapter has crossed over hundreds of members, won many prestigious awards from the campus as well as the community, and is the most diverse organization at CSUSB.
